February Scholar of the Month: Anna Scopp!

Congratulations to Anna Scopp, the February Scholar of the Month!





Anna is a sophomore Gamma Phi Beta studying Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of Kansas.  She plans to be a Physician's Assistant.  She's involved in the Honor's Program and is a nanny for a 29-year-old woman with Down Syndrome.  Some of her favorite things to do at KU are eat Wheel Pizza, and sled down the JRP hill on snow days.  Congratulations again, Anna!  We're so proud of you!

Last night, we celebrated the 24th annual Greek Awards Recognition Night in the Woodruff Auditorium.  Year after year, our Panhellenic community continues to grow and flourish, thanks to the dedication all of our women show to the Panhellenic Association.

Continuous Open Recruitment (COR) is an alternative form of recruitment for women interested in joining the KU sorority community. This is an informal recruitment process that begins after the completion of recruitment in the fall of 2012 and concludes during end of the spring 2013 semester.

We had a great first annual Continuous Open Recruitment (COR) kickoff today in the Kansas Union! Throughout the next few weeks, there will be Informal Recruitment events that potential new members can attend. 

Remember that you have to be invited to each of these events before attending.

October Scholar of the Month

Congratulations to the October Scholar of the Month, Kjersti Olsen!





Kjersti Olsen is a sophomore transfer student of Alpha Gamma Delta. She is from Larned, Kansas and went to Fort Larned High School. Her college involvement so far includes, marching band; Psi Chi; Alpha Gamma Delta member, as well as office holder; theater; and multiple honor societies. She has been on the Dean's List every semester of college, and strives to keep it that way all four years. Kjersti enjoys helping others through mentoring, donating to goodwill, and volunteering at various places. She plans to continue helping others for the rest of her life as a Clinical Child Psychologist.
