"My name is Laura Leeder and I am graduating in may with a business degree in marketing. I have had the privilege of being a part of Chi Omega as well as studying abroad. In the spring semester of my junior year I spent three months studying in Europe, and absolutely loved skydiving in the Swiss Alps. Most recently I was able to travel half way across the globe to India. I conquered my fear of foreign waters and climbed a coconut tree high enough to jump into Lake Vembenad. I am very honored to be this month's scholar recipient and want to thank everyone who has helped me become the person I am today. Most importantly - my incredible family. I would be nothing without their guidance and support throughout this journey. I am very excited for what the future has in store for me! Rock Chalk Jayhawk!"
